Executive Assistant to the Co-Founders
Arondite
About Arondite
Arondite is a defence technology company building the foundational software and AI to power the autonomous age. Our aim is to revolutionise the way organisations collaborate with robots, sensors and autonomous systems then use the data they generate. We are driven by our determination to help defend our collective democratic values and by our strong belief that an elite group of capable people can make a big difference. We are ambitious, well-funded and building for the long-term.
You will join Arondite at a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. Our company is being built by exceptional people who find high-impact and technically challenging work engaging and exciting, and who consistently deliver outsized impact. If you are motivated by our mission and if you want to be part of a growing team of outstanding people, then we want to hear from you.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our co-founders. This is a fast-paced, mission-critical role requiring discretion, initiative, and exceptional attention to detail. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our leadership team can focus on driving the company forward while maintaining seamless operations across all business functions.
As an EA, you will serve as a trusted partner to the co-founders and a key liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders. This role demands someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can anticipate needs while managing competing priorities with grace and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the co-founders
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings across multiple time zones
- Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, visas, accommodation, and itineraries
- Monitor and manage inboxes, prioritising emails and ensuring timely responses
- Track follow-ups and help ensure tasks and decisions don't fall through the cracks
- Prepare briefing documents, agendas, and follow-ups for meetings
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of leadership
- Support with expense tracking, reporting, and basic finance admin
- Assist in organising company events and off-sites
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
You should have:
- Experience as an EA, PA, or similar administrative role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and anticipate needs
- A high level of discretion and professionalism
Ideally, you would also have:
- Experience in a startup or defence-related environment
- Interest in geopolitics or international affairs
- Basic understanding of finance and legal processes
Note: We want Arondite to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We don't expect everyone to have experience across each of these areas. Please apply even if you only partially fulfil this list.
Security clearance
We believe in working closely with defence customers. As a result, this role will require the individual to hold a clearance or be willing to undergo UK security vetting to Security Check (SC) or above. This normally requires having continuous residency in the UK for at least 5 years.
Office vs Hybrid working
We are focused on building a positive, collaborative engineering-driven culture. We therefore believe in making the office a friendly, comfortable and fun place to be, and we try to work from the office where possible. Of course, there are times when it makes sense for you to work from home and that's OK. You may also need to travel to visit customers, depending on your role. But in general you should only apply to join Arondite if you're excited to come into the office and work in person by default.
