At SEI we value our employees and believe in driving growth through change. Part of building brave futures is making a concerted effort to develop and challenge our employees to achieve their goals through internal job mobility.

The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of SEI’s headquarters campus in Oaks, PA, with a strong focus on managing SEI’s portfolio of leased office spaces both domestically and internationally. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality workplace experiences by overseeing best practices for soft services, managing vendor relationships, and fostering strong collaborations across business units.

The Senior Facilities Manager will lead a small team that provides facility services, manage SEI’s corporate real estate portfolio, ensure effective lease administration—including the onboarding and integration of new leased office acquisitions—and support global fit out projects. An understanding of optimizing real estate for a hybrid work environment, integrating supporting technologies, and proactively managing lease obligations and renewals is essential for success in this position.

This role will be located in our corporate office, and the hired individual will need to be in the office 5 days per week.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Campus and Lease Oversight: Long-term strategic planning for SEI’s Oaks campus and all leased office spaces, ensuring alignment with company goals and business needs.
  • Corporate Real Estate and Lease Administration: Manage SEI’s real estate portfolio, with an emphasis on effective administration of leased properties. Lead the physical onboarding of newly acquired companies, integrating facilities and services into SEI’s standards and processes. Support global fit out projects, working with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and brand-aligned office environments.
  • Soft Services Management: Lead and continuously improve best practices related to janitorial, mailroom, food service, and other soft services, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all locations, including leased properties.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee performance, contracts, and relationships with third-party soft service providers for both owned and leased offices, driving cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and support a small team responsible for delivering facility services across the campus and leased office spaces, ensuring high performance and professional growth of team members.
  • Cross-Unit Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with internal business units to proactively identify and address workplace requirements across all SEI properties, supporting productivity and employee engagement.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with demonstrated expertise in corporate real estate, lease administration, and vendor management.
  • Experience onboarding physical office spaces for acquisitions and supporting global fit out projects.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid work models and the technologies that support flexible workplace environments.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across business units and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and developing a small team is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
