Key responsibilities
The Operations & Telecom Lab Support Associate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the office environment and telecom lab. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to build a foundation in technical operations, L1 support, telecom lab workflows, and cross‑team coordination. The candidate will support engineering teams, manage operational tasks, and assist with UE and domain‑specific activities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of telecom concepts such as LTE/5G, SIM handling, or device testing, networking, software programming (added advantage).
- Technical Aptitude — Basic understanding of hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Telecom Interest — Curiosity to learn about telecom systems, UE testing, and lab workflows.
- Communication & Coordination — Ability to interact with multiple teams and manage tasks efficiently.
- Organizational Skills — Strong attention to detail, task tracking, and time management.
- Problem‑Solving Mindset — Ability to identify issues and take initiative in resolving operational challenges.
Key Interfaces for Role:
- L1 Technical Support — Provide first‑level troubleshooting for basic application issues. Create and track support tickets and escalate when required.
- Telecom Lab Operations — Assist in lab setup, equipment arrangement, cable routing, powering devices, and maintaining lab hygiene and safety standards.
- UE (User Equipment) Handling — Support teams with mobile devices, SIM provisioning, device flashing, log collection, and basic configuration tasks.
- Domain Team Assistance — Provide operational and technical support to RF, Protocol, Application, and Automation teams. Manage shared lab resources and ensure availability.
- Documentation & Compliance — Maintain asset records, lab equipment logs, parcel registers, and daily operational reports. Ensure compliance with lab access and safety guidelines.
- Vendor & Internal Coordination — Liaise with vendors, facility teams, IT support, and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Parcel & Logistics Coordination — Manage incoming/outgoing parcels, maintain shipment logs, coordinate with courier partners, and ensure timely distribution to respective teams.
- Office Operations & Facility Support — Oversee office area readiness, manage consumables and inventory, support meeting room setups ,and coordinate with facility teams for maintenance tasks.
