This department is to develop and operate the service of the E-Commerce and Marketing related service in Rakuten.

Tech Management Office supports the business by effectively managing HR, Finance, and related services.
Our team (HR) is transforming into a strategic function, encompassing HR Business Partnering (HRBP), Centers of Excellence (CoE), and Talent/Organization Development. Through in-depth analysis and collaborative discussions with tech leaders, HR partners with leadership to bridge gaps and achieve organizational goals.

Why We Hire
Our team (HR) is building a strategic HR function encompassing HRBP, CoE, and Talent/Organization Development. As part of this transformation, we are establishing a new HRBP position. The HRBP will partner with business/organization leaders to achieve their goals by providing effective solutions based on thorough investigation and analysis of organizational challenges and issues.
Position Details
As a key member of the Strategic HR team, the HRBP will identify issues and leverage data analysis to propose solutions. This includes a wide range of areas such as headcount management, recruiting strategy development, organization and talent development, leadership development, and talent management.
To achieve these goals, the HRBP will collaborate with Group HR and other stakeholders.
Work Environment
Our team is diverse in terms of age, gender, and background, and we communicate in both Japanese and English.
The team consists of approximately 15 members across HRBP, Recruiting Planning, and Organization & Talent Development, and we support each other. Many team members are parents, and managers are flexible and supportive of diverse working styles.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Proven in-house HR experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, demonstrating logical and critical thinking.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HRBP experience at global companies.
- Team leadership experience.
- Experience in HR consulting or HR-related development.
- Experience in global HR policy design and implementation.
