The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.
We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.
Department Overview
Data marketing department is promoting the planning, implementation, and analysis of web marketing strategies for new Rakuten mobile user acquisitions. We are planning and executing while analyzing various data to see how we can connect to Rakuten Mobile contracts by utilizing Rakuten G's ecosystem and media outside the Rakuten Group (SEM, SNS advertising, affiliates, SEO, etc.).

Position Details
- Collaborate with related businesses within the Rakuten Group (such as Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Travel, Rakuten Card, Rakuten Pay, etc.) and external media (such as Google, LINE, Yahoo, Meta, etc.) to formulate and execute strategies aimed at maximizing the acquisition of Rakuten Mobile subscribers in the web marketing domain.
- Make the most of Rakuten's extensive data assets and AI in marketing.
- Improve and optimize initiatives based on analysis and segmentation of target customer demographics and data analysis.
- Plan and manage point campaigns.
- Research and analyze market trends and competitor activities based on the market dynamics of competing companies, and reflect these insights in initiatives.
Initially, we expect you to perform the above tasks as a player while also driving the organization as a manager.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in business planning, business promotion, BizDev, etc.
- Knowledge in the field of marketing.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Communication skills and teamwork
- Possession of fundamental knowledge of marketing regardless of industry
